Art exhibition «Subjectivization of meaning» opens in Lera Litvinova Gallery

On December 17, Lera Litvinova Gallery opens a personal exhibition of Lera Litvinova, “Subjectivization of Meaning”.

Lera Litvinova is an artist and co-founder of Lera Litvinova Gallery, her art works have a wide geography of collections starting from Ukraine, to Germany, Belgium, USA, Luxembourg, China, United Arab Emirates.

“I continue to explore and reflect in my works the emotional transformational processes of the personality, as in“ The Bifurcation Point ”(a series of works created in 2015-2017). Time makes sense only in connection with feeling of the time and moment here and now. At some point you can no longer be the same. This is the so-called transition point – point of bifurcation. The landscape is verbose and polysyllabic; at sunset or dawn, in a haze of fog or shrouded in twilight, when there is not a single living soul nearby, it seems that with the new day the Universe is born and you along with it. The nature of humanity is contradictory and thus fascinatingly interesting ”- artist Lera Litvinova about the exhibition“ Subjectivization of Meaning ”.

The exhibition contains abstractions and abstract landscapes, most of them we created specifically for the project. The exhibition “Subjectivization of Meaning” reveals the concept of individual emotional perception, the unique personality coloring of situations and surroundings as an absolutely unique experience.

Leonora Yanko, art critic, director of the gallery says: “Hegel, the philosopher, calls abstraction the primary element of the spiritual development of reality. One of the key themes of Lera Litvinova’s art works remains the topic of awareness of the moment, regardless of context. In a certain sense, in her works there is a romanticization of both living nature and the essential states of human being, thus presenting a peculiar essence of harmony. ”

Lera Litvinova was born in 1986 in the city of Fergana (Uzbekistan). In 2014, she began exhibiting actively, and together with art critic Leonora Yanko founded the Lera Litvinova Gallery, representing young authors and iconic artists in the Ukrainian and international art arena. In the same 2014, her iconic series “Rain” was bought by the famous European Museum Mauermuseum (Berlin), subsequently repeating this experience. The artist’s creative resume includes more than 30 group and personal projects. In her artworks, the artist explores various media, moving from surface planes to volume. The “Trauma” installation, presented in 2017 at the American House, was a successful experience, striking with the power of the concept and visualizing the stigma problems. The art works of Lera Litvinova are in collections in Ukraine, USA, Germany, China, Luxembourg, Belgium, UAE. L. Litvinova was a participant and curator of social projects, she takes an active position in the implementation of the principle of cultural diplomacy to strengthen cultural ties between states and promote national interests.
