Leonora Yanko presents Johnny Crack in Ukraine

The Exhibition Grand Opening of extraordinary art-works of German graffiti sprayer Johnny Crack took place on 5th of April in Kyiv History Museum, organized by LERA LITVINOVA GALLERY.

For the first time Ukrainians and Kyiv guests have possibility to be acquainted with his art works so close within exhibition «Illusion».

Specially for project in Ukraine, Johnny Crack prepared graffiti on the canvas.

This is the unique experience for Ukraine. Why street art should be presented inside the museum? The curator of the project and director of LERA LITVINOVA GALLERY, Leonora Yanko answers: «We created the contrast for Ukrainian audience – street art on the edge with vandalism within narrow bounds of the historical museum. We can see different reaction: from delight to pure indignation, society of USA and Europe went through it in 80s…»

The actors of a theatre-studio “White Crow” managed to share with guests the mysterious character of Johnny Crack, who prefers to veil his personality from social media. Impressed people wondered, if the author actually visited his exhibition.

The diplomats, embassy and consular representatives of various countries were at the Opening. Among those who have honored the organizers with their presence were: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of State of Kuwait, the representatives of the Embassies of the United States of America, Kingdom of Denmark, Algeria, Georgia, Belarus, and also the representatives of the Embassy of Germany in Ukraine. Famous art-collectors, painters and journalists also attended the show.

Auto Center «Acura Center Kyiv» supported the project «Illusion». The Opening was visited by Nataliya Ignatchenko, the Owner of Acura and Infiniti Automobile Network, and Oleg Dibrova - «Acura Center Kyiv» Director .

The Gallery team is gratefull to the Company «English Channel», especially the Founder of the company Natalie Pavluyk, for help in communication and high quality of work.

The jewelry brand Zarina prepared valuable gift as exciting surprise for Lera Litvinova, Founder of LERA LITVINOVA GALLERY, curator of international projects, for the contribution to contemporary art.
